Ammo Pouches

I carried 3 magazines in each ammo pouch. I wore them on the front of my pistol belt where they were the easiest to get at. I found that the first magazine went the fastest, and reloading had to be done in quick time.

The standard bandoleer for M16 magazines was second choice, but I carried the remainder of my basic load in them.
