E-5, and I was the drummer of this musical group. Ralph, was a machine gunner and was often attached to my squad. He was wounded near Dak To, late spring, 1968. A medi-vac took him away and his disposition has been unlearned. He hailed from, Puerto Rico, and we often talked of maintaining contact. Message is: I am looking for John who was wounded in January 1970. I was shipped out of country the day before the 60th was attacked and sustained heavy casualties to the point that the unit was pulled out of the jungle and what was left was brought back to long bien. John was wounded in the knee and spent time in the hospital before being discharged. Last known living in Alabama before deciding to leave and go out west to live in the mountains. He located me in Tennesse and called and was going to come visit but never did. I would like to locate John and make contact. He and I were friends in Nam.
