Message is: I was Eddie Tune's pen pal. Eddie is from a small town in Tennessee. He was the proud owner of a yellow charger! I was in high school during his tour and we wrote to each other every week. We used to think about his driving up to Boston (where I lived at the time) in his car when he got out. Suddenly his letters stopped. I didn't know if he was alive or not. About 12 years ago, my dad answered the phone at his house and the person on the other end said he was Ed Tune, my old pen pal. My dad is old and paniced and pretended that he didn't know where I was. Ed said he is a truck driver and was driving thru Boston and still had my name and phone number! Dad called me at my office that day and I spent the rest of the day calling every truck stop I could find, and then the Tennessee records, etc. Eddie was a young private when I wrote to him. He must now be in his early 50s.
