Message is: I am trying to locate members of my father 1st Lt. Cecil Wright's comand. His unit was operating out of LZ Ross. He served from 1968-1969 He served with the 196th LIB, Company C, 2/1st infantry. His unit was doing search and clear operations east of Tien Phuoc on March 22, 1969 when they came under heavy fire from the NVA. My father manuvered his men through hostile fire to secure the area that was left open because of many wounded men. He then proceded to go and help assist taking care of the wounded while under heavy fire. He was wounded while doing this heroic act. He was then sent to a Japanese hospital for a month. Then he returned to the states. He is alive and doing well.

Message is: I am trying to locate Isaac Lee Quarrels for a co-worker of mine, Charlie Riis. Charlie was wounded Christmas day 1969 or 1970. I'm not sure which. Isaac was the man who pulled Charlie to safety after the Jeep he was riding in was hit. Charlie, and I believe Isaac, were members of the 35th Armoured Cav. Charlie believes Isaac was an E-5 and described him as "A soldiers soldier." Isaac also held 3 purple hearts at the time he helped Charlie. Charlie served in the Chu Lai area. Message is: I had written to Danny Cook while he was in Vietnam from 1968-1969. I had lost contact with Danny late in 1969 and I would like to know if he ever returned back home to the USA. I do not remember where his home town is. I was a senior in High School, when I read an article in Dear Abby requesting pen-pals for the guys serving in Vietnam. Danny and I had written alot of letters and sent a lot of cards back and forth.....and I had received a few gifts from Danny, which I might add....I still have....plus I still have his pictures. The letters were however, thrown out...which I regret.

Message is: I've been trying to find him for over 20 years. He grew up in Flint, Michigan He knew I was from Beaver, Pa. at the time. I was Air Force and he was a Spec 4 in the Army. No idea what his MOS was but believe all they had on Sembach, Air Base was flightline support for the Army planes and helecopters maintained there. I have some of his stuff but then we lost track of each other. I've even traveled to Flint to find him but their seem to be many David Crawfords.
