Message is: Anyone who knew and served with SFC Jimmy R. Cauley during this time frame, I would very like to hear from you. He was also with ADV. Team 89. During Operation QT 22/E Conducted by the 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division from 1 July to 30 Sept. 1972 in Quang Nam and Quang Tin Provinces. He was in Viet from Dec. 1968 to Dec. 1969. And again from April 1972 to Feb. 1973. I am trying to find out about some of his movements over there. He never would talk about Vietnam. Now, he has been dead almost 21 years. He died 16 months after retiring from the service. His death has been ruled unknown and non-military cause. He was only 43 years old. He died at the VA Medical Center in Shreveport, La. They also done an autopsy on him. If anyone remembers him, please, I would very much like to h ear from you. He was also a Drill Sgt. at Ft. Polk, La. from Jan. 1970 to April 1972.

The deck of cards is significant because he used it as his Bible. He(the gentlemen with the cards) used the cards by breaking them down in to sections of the bibles. Message is: I was in Fort Bragg for 6 months with Demsey and then went to VN and we were split up, I know he was from North Florida possibly Jacksonville, He also had a brother serving in VN at the same Base, called North English or just English, with the 173 rd.Also he was working in the rear, I think in supply's. I am not sure of the correct spelling of his name, He also had a father that was in the Hyway patrol department.
