Message is: I am wondering if anyone remembers the shooting that took place at Camp Radcliff. One of the men (Incarnation was his name and he was Puerto Rican) was going to receive disciplinary action for smoking dope. A sargent came to get Incarnation to have him report to the Battallion Commander. He was in the Latrine. The sargent pulled out pistol and ordered him out of the latrine. Incarnation reached into his pocket. When he did the sargent shot him in the stomach. I should say at this point, I don't have any ax to grind about this with anyone. This is just one of those tragic Vietnam experiences that I would like to have closure on. I would just like to know if anyone knows what happened to this poor guy and if he survived. If anyone out there has any information I would sure appreciate it.

Message is: I have been looking for anyone who I may have served with in the 2/502 where myself and 36 other new "cherries" joined up with the Strike Force Widow Makers in Song Be late December 1967. We took so many casualities during the year we were over there that only three of us got to come back to the states together. The others plus so many other men in my battalion were either killed or wounded so badly they had to be medivaced back to the states. I was with Alpha Co. for the first six months and was transferred over to Delta Co. when we went from having three line companies with four platoons to four line companies with only three platoons. We also had a Headquarters Co and a Recon platoon. I would also like to hear from any boonie rat who may have served have with us anytime during 1968. I have a mental block about most of the men whom I served with during that terrible year and I need help in trying to remember the names of our fallen comrades. Message is: During the Winter/Spring of '68, I commanded 3rd Platoon Charlie Company 3rd Battalion 1st Infantry 11th Light Infantry Brigade.We forayed out of LZ Liz in Qunag Ngai Province.The battalion was commanded by LTC. James A. Franklin and the company by Capt. Harry Joe Rhinehart.They were both outstanding Infantry Officers.I was terribly wounded in June of '68 and spent 18 months in the hospital (Walter Reed) getting pieced back together.I was retired as a result of my wounds.I then went to college and law school.I have been a career prosecutor for 20 years.My RTO, PFC. Kenneth B. Knotts US53670801, was wounded along with me and lost both legs just above the knees.He survived and was from Mississippi.My Medic, PFC. Wayne E. He was originally in Brigade Support, but had a hassle with the CO and got sent to the bush. He has a gold star in his jump wings, was in Operation Junction City, the Hobo Woods, War Zone "C", and the clearing of Vung Tau. He was a tunnel rat and mentioned capturing an underground hospital and killing the VC wounded. He carried an M-60 and remembers the names Ford from Philly & Higgins from Kentucky were his ammo barriers. He is currently at the VA Med Center in Waco as of 04/12/01. Since his MOS was not 11Bravo, Uncle Sam is jerking him around. He spent the last ten years hiding out in the woods of Arizona/ Nevada and is in sad shape.
