Message is: I am trying to find out which unit my Uncle Johnny served in during Vietnam. I know he signed up when he was 17, that he served several ltours in vietnam, that he ahd 3 purple hearts, and that what ended his tour is he was shot up pretty bad in a tent with his buddies (I was 10 when he came home, so the story may be a bit fuzzy. He was a great guy, who was a scrappy fighter of a guy, but had about the hugest heart you'd ever want to find!! He recently passed away, mostly from complications from all the shrapnel and scarring over, so I am so sorry I didn't ask him about this before, but he really didn't like to talk about it much.
