Message is: Ted served in Phu Lam army base in early 1966. Ted met a Vietnamese girl named My Le while they were in Saigon and they both were about 20 or 24 year olds. Ted had another couple moved in to live with him in the apartment in the De Tham street of the Tran Hung dao street. Ted wrote a letter and told his family in USA, about his new baby. (My Le was pregnant), Ted received a gift from his family for his new baby. Ted usually came home (apartment) daily after work at the army base in Phu Lam but during his mission on the early fall of 1966 Ted never came home. My Le went to see Bill on the Army base. Bill told My Le that Ted was missing in action. My Le gave birth to a boy in Feb. 67. That boy now is grown up and has 2 kids (Girl & Boy). They now leave in Boston, MA. Message is: My father was a medic in Vietnam from 27 February 1969 until 26 February 1971. I think he was trained at or was attached to the 15th EVAC Hospital, his orders weren't too clear. He says he was assigned to so many different units that he can't remember any of them. My father is Hispanic, would have been anywhere between 19-20, from Safford, Arizona, and he says that most of the men called him Doc. He remembers one man in particular, but he only called him by "Bledsoe". My father was also shot in the shoulder. After that he left Vietnam. If anyone remembers my father please email me.
