Depicts a friend of mine, Lt. Robert Calibosa getting hit with 50 cal while on an observation Mission for his Cmdr. Being attached to an infantry unit in the Tay Ninh Provence.
Note Mui Ba Den on the horizon, and a reference to Otto Dix's Firebombing etching of 1917 win the distance.

 
   
Gen. Giap admired this drawing while in the traveling show, "Between Both Sides: Americans and Vietnamese Look at the War" in the Hanoi Museum of Fine Art, in 1994.
