Message is: Trying to locate old shipmates from VF-174 and VA-174 for a reunion, (HELLRAZORS) which is being held in Jacksonville, Fla. on the 5th through the 7th of November 1999. I was station there from the fall of 1965 to 1968. I was in Maint. Control as an AZAN. Message is: I'm looking for someone who knew my father and could just share with me what they knew of him, so maybe i could share it with his grandchildren. He lived through the war but died of agent orange 6 years ago. Everyone says when he came home he never really came home. I never really got a chance to know my father and I was hoping someone could help me to know alittle about him. I know he did 2 or 3 tours in Nam and that he was a seabee and an electrican and flew a helicopter in the Army for the last of his years in the service. I also know he spent alot of time in Guam along with thousands of other soilders. I know he helped the children in Guam by teaching them construction amoung other things. I hope some of this helps.

Message is: I am in the process of looking for Robert Brown (Brownee) who served with me as a plane captain and trouble shooter with VF-154 on the flight deck of the USS Ranger during 1970-71. Was discharged in 1971 in San Diego. Born and raised in Penn. he always believed that he would become the next Arnold Palmer. Arnold may have struck oil, Brownee never did. We had a disagreement over a relationship between a women and have never seen each other since. Would like to see if this relationship was enduring and also to relive old times. In Korea, he was shot in the arm, in Nam, he took a frag, in the ear, that cut his ear in half but was put back on. In WW II he was on a P.T. and in Nam he was with the C.B.'s.
