Message is: I was wondering over the years what happened to a friend of mine who went to Viet Nam. He was born in Queens, New York. Grew-up on a type of work farm in Upstate New York. I believe. He was an orphan. He was planning to return to farm after his hitch in the Navy. He was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina in 1964; then was transferred to California in the San Diego area where he received training for overseas. At the time I knew him he had two navy stripes I believe; maybe three. He said his father was a Navy Seal; but he never knew him for he was killed in action. I don't know if that was just a young man talking or if it was true. I kinda of think it was a young man dreaming but what do I know??? His nick name is "Ollie". He has light brown hair, hazel eyes, stood about 5'6 or 5'5. Said his ancestory was Italian and Irish. He said in San Diego they were training him in Plastic Explosives. That is about it.
