Message is: I entered boot camp with Ralph Morrison at Great Lakes in 1966 After boot camp we remained at Great Lakes for Hospital Corp training and then spent almost a year at Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico working in the base hospital. From there we were sent to Camp Lejeune, N. Carolina for Field Medical School. Once completed I was sent to Okinawa and then into Viet Nam. Ralph was transferred from Camp Lejeune to Camp Pendelton, Ca where he spent a year in training. I saw him briefly in early 1969 upon my return from Viet Nam. His unit eventually went to Viet Nam, but was there a short time when troop withdrawals were made. He ended up somewhere in the Phillipines. He visited me briefly in Wisconsin after his Navy discharge around 1970-71. He returned to his hometown area of Boston where his father owned two funeral homes. Ralph and his brother Paul were supposed to take over the business, but Ralph walked away from it. I lost track of him about that time.
