Valerie Schumacher

Valerie is employed at Smith College as a full-time worker, and is also enrolled there as a non-traditional age student. She is due to graduate in May 1995.

Valerie's major is in American Studies with a concentration on writing about the Vietnam War, and photography. She uses a plastic camera for most of her images, but also uses a medium format camera and works strictly in black and white. (although she admits that some of her more touristy pictures are in color).

Valerie's SO Bob, is a Vietnam Veteran.
