Message is: All flew "VR", "FAC" and "S&R" flights out of Xuan Loc and Ham Tan. The village of Vo Dat was overrun by the enemy in Feb/ Mar of 66. We believe Capt Klaus was the first FAC there, and took ground fire. Maj. Morrison's radioman ( AF Sgt) was on the ground at VoDat engaging the enemy and unable to make his flight.
