Message is: I have been looking for Clayton Rice sence 1972 when I left Ubon Thailand. We were best of friends. I still look at our picture together and I laugh. There has been too many years gone by. I suffer from PTSD and have a real bad memory, but I have never forgotten him. He was like a big brother. I was born in 1952 and I think he was a year older than me. I just want to tell him what a great friend he was and still is. I have been married to the same woman for 26 years three kids three grand kids. I know nothing about him sense 1972. I was in Law Enforcement there at Ubon. We use to rent a hut down town together. Spent a lot of time in the Play boy club and the Sandpan club down town. Remember when we rented motor cycles and ended up in Laos We crossed a gate shack and went another 20 miles into Laos. We turned arround and hauled A__ when we heard weapons beaing fired. We opened up those hondas and were doing over 80 mph for at least 15 miles. Later that night we went down to the! Message is: When I was a little girl, I wore a POW bracelet honoring Wallace Newcombe, who was a prisoner of war. After wearing the bracelet for several years, I watched on television as Captain Newcombe got off of an airplane, safely back in the United States after a long period of captivity. My Dad, who was a Navy pilot, found out that he was from Painted Post, New York so I sent the bracelet there hoping that Captain Newcombe would receive it. He did, and sent me a note back. I still have the note in a box in my attic. I just watched a documentary about Pete Peterson/Vietnam and thought about Captain Newcombe. I was just thinking about him, and hope that his life after returning to the U.S. has been okay. I'm now a 38 year old mother of two sons, serving as a federal prosecutor in San Francisco, California. I've never forgotten Captain Newcombe and the feelings I had as I wore that bracelet in 6th and 7th grade...

Message is: What are "four D-2s?" That phrase is on a spot report of a bombing incident - three, five hundred pound bombs - in I Corps, Thau Thien Province, on 16 March 1968. Does it refer to ordance? Also, what craft were capable of high-level infared bombing? By high-level, I mean out of sight and sound of ground troops.
