Message is: Looking for my old NCOIC at Tan San Nhut in 69, Tsgt.Don "US MAIL" Lowry. He was retiring in Colorado Springs after his tour in Vietnam. He had worked with the AF Band and was at NORAD for awhile. Just wanted to see how he is. Steve Sammons and Don Nelson served at Keeler AFB in 1967-69. Were my first friends when I had one stripe and no hair at first permanent party base (ATC). Steve was from Ohio last heard him on WHAM radio in Rochester NY in 1972. Donnie Nelson was from Wilmington NC, last talked with him in 1972. Donnie was married to Carol LeVesque and had a daughter named Dawn. Last I heard Donnie worked for a TV station in Wilmington. Just wanted to let you know "McGann" was still kickin! Gene dillard was a staff sgt and was headed back to Las vegas after he retired in late 60s. Going through the process of "getting it all out" now 31 years after Nam. Trying to just remember the "good guys" I knew then.

Message is: Hoping to hear from anyone with the 19th SOS out of Laramie Wyoming. We were all involved in civic actions program at KY Quang Orphanage in Saigon. I was the one who got all the cloths sent from my home town in Penn Hills near Pittsburgh Pa. I've been searching for info on the orphanage and any survivors from it, hoping that one of those kids "paid it forward" later in life and made a difference to other children in Vietnam. Even if you don't know about the orphanage it would be nice to hear from anyone in 19th SOS from 1969.
