I don't want anything from him but is very curious considering my mother says my husbands resembled my biological dad. All I know is that my mother and the American airforce mechanic, he was a E-7 lived together for several months until he was shipped back home in Nov. of 1965 before I was born, Jan. of 1966. My mother did not know that he had a wife and 2 children back in the states. When he left Saigon, he gave my mother some money, and a name to give to his child when he/she was born and oddly enough a picture of his wife and 2 children back in the state. He had a little girl around the age of 2 and a baby boy several months old in the pictures. William or Bill was his first name, and he even wrote to my mother after I was born. Since, my mother co! uld not read or write English, she just threw away the letter, not knowing what was written and forgot about him. 3 years later, my mother married a Vietnam vet in the army and this man adopted and became a father to me. He even moved our family over to the states. I grew up in the states, had a good childhood with the only father that I ever have known and loved. I am now happily married with 2 children of my own. And believe it or not, I still have the pictures of my half siblings and the picture of my daughter resembles that of my half sister at the same age. I am just curious to what my father, William or Bill looked like. I don't want anything from Bill, just to possible see the image of the man that gave me my life and to end the quest/search of where did I get my genetics features or if he is interested, would he feel better knowing that the child he left behind in Vietnam is doing well with so many friends and family here in the states now. If anybody who might have! any clues or ideas on how I can go about searching for him wi! th so li ttle information that I was given, please let me know. My biggest aid is the photos of his wife and 2 children that I still have. Thank you for reading my story.

Lewis and we just found out that they have recovered his remains and of his other pilot Baker.My mother has worn this bracelet for over 39 years until he is to be found and has never taken it off for more than a day.I am writting to see if there is any possible way we can get in contact with the family or know the where abouts to see if they would like the bracelet or if they want my mother to keep it. I was AIC of the lquid Fule maint shop, but worked out of the plumbing shop, T/sgt Brooks was the NCOIC. when CE became its own Sq. I and a T/sgt (can't remember his name) set up the work control center, at the time of the formation of the sq there were two M/sgt in charge of CE, we got a Lt/col who drove a VW bus that we scroung for him. in late 1955 a build up stater and a lot of army came in and we put up hootchs for them. then we got my personnel assigned and we got a CM/sgt and a Few SM/sgts. so if you were in CE 1955-1956, would like to hear from you hklinger@cfl.rr.com

We went TDY from Pope to Clark AFB in jan. 1962 until May 1962 worked on the C-123's washed them down, herbicide was all over us.
