Message is: I have been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma,(cancer of the bone marrow -incurable) which is caused by Agent Orange. The VA is trying to deny that I was ever in Vietnam. I am looking for anyone who was in DET 300 601 Photo Squad with me, who could vouch that we flew many missions into Nam, taking classified photos, we even transported said photos into Da Nang. Apparently the AIR FORCE doesn't keep records that would show that I was a courier of classified photos or that I transported them into Da Nang, I find this hard to believe-no record of who was on an airplane??????? He served in vietnam and then desserted the Air force, changed his name and created a disguise for himself.His name that is on my birth certificate, so I have been told is not correct and is an alias. I was also told he had family from the colorado springs area and maybe even texas. He had brown hair, brown eyes and wore glasses. I was born in 1976 in Dallas, TX while he worked in Oklahoma as a pipe layer before leaving my mother when I was 3 months. I would like to find information on him, but know my chances are next to none considering my situatuion. Today he would be about 65 years old maybe with a last name of walter. I also do know he worked at an ice factory or plant in San Francisco in the early 70's before meeting my mother.
