Message is: I am a Captain in the Marine Corps. I was sent a copy of a JAG investigation conducted on 18 Jan 1968 regarding an incident that occured on an ambush which begun 21 Dec 1968. The investigation was to dtermine whether an charges should be brought against these Marines, but concluded with the recommendation that one of them should receive the CMH. The story brought out during the investigation is unbelievable. I am writing a short story and would like to see if any of these Marines would like to speak about it or have anything to add. Marines like them gave the Marine Corps our reputation.
