I was kind of glad because it may hav meant that you lived and we found only one EM with you. He was white too. I was afraid that we missed the 3rd guy in the high grass. He was black so I was terrified that we had left him there all night in that cold high grass, but the 3rd KIA wasn't at Liberty Bridge eitherso we didn't miss him. Then I got the records of all three and I leanrned that none of them was on that patrol. I am sorry sarge. I was pretty shook up. I did real well considering it was only my second foot patrol. None of the guys with me were infantry either, all volunteers. Never did see the rest of your patrol. You should not have told them to go! after the NVA, leaving you behind. Still no idea what unit. 1-5 had the bridge but companies from all over the division were taking a week at bridge security. Others helped me look for you so now I am helping others look.
