Base camps on Google Earth

Any of you tried finding your old stomping grounds on Google Earth? I've been able to find the 2 base camps we resupplied from in III Corps. One was Cu Chi and the other was Tay Ninh. The borders of the camps and many of the interior roads are still clearly visible, as well as the airstrips. I also used Google Earths flight simulator feature (CTRL-ALT-A) and virtually flew from one base camp to the other. I recognized the Song Vam Co Dong River and Go Dau Ha along the way. We were at Go Dau Ha twice. I never dreamed I would one day be able to see such images.

yes, i used it to find my patrol route in the ashau, 2 aug 67. i went back and visited in 2006. got close, but was unable to get to the exact spot with my gov't "minder"

Yes! Google's flight simulator is great except for one
problem I kept having... Whenever I pulled the trigger
on my fighter handle nothing happened!!!!
