Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia

Our organisation is pretty small here, but we are a strong force and very active in our sub-branch working towards welfare and pension claims.

We recently instigated the dedication of a small park called Vietnam Veterans Place which has gardens, seating, a pathway with bricks stamped with all the Australian units that served in VN, and a concrete map coloured red for north and green for south with plaques showing where we were situated.

There are also three flag poles displaying the Army, Navy, and Airforce flags. This is a first for Australia.
