Nicely done. Don't see many of those. I was at the last change of command ceremony at Pendleton, don't see many of those either. The Marines looked good in the video: Sharp, professional and inspiring.

My class presentation was today. One guy is going into the Marine officer program. Another was in Afghanistan in the 101st Air Borne. I was asked about ROE in VN--rules of engagement. I told him we didn't have any in Que Son in 1967. The Air Borne said they had them depending on the action/activity going around them. Leaving Iraq, they couldn't do much at all. In Afghanistan, where he was during some of the fighting, they didn't bother with ROE at all.

Speaking of the 101st, as I recall Bill Cowan has/had a son in the 101st, or 82d...can't recall. Last time I communicated with him was 2002. Since then he's dropped off th3e face of the earth?
Hey Bill have you ever come across a Marine officer by the name of Don Drobney? He worked for Ross Perot (Drobney founded Perot Systems) at one time and lived in Monaco for a while. His son runs some corp. in England--don't know about now. He's from Texas and was my Company CO at one time on VN.
My platoon commander was Harry "Ben" Drollinger and his father was a preeminent cryptologist at the Pentagon back during Nam. Ben also knows Bill Cowan, through his father. Cowan dealt with Buddy Drollinger, Ben's father. Just wondering, since you know Cowan. Maybe you know these guys also.
